You may have seen the image of our colorful Cloudland Paintworks truck on our website. Hopefully you’ve also seen it in person when we’ve come to your home to assist with your residential painting needs. This winter we’ve been out and about helping many of you to clean the snow and ice off your roofs. But we’ve also been busy behind the scenes, getting ready for our full spring schedule:
- We attended the 18th annual bridal show, held in January at the beautiful Grassy Hill Country Club in Orange. We had a chance to talk to prospective brides, grooms, and their families about the services we provide. (You might be surprised at how frequently we are called in to refresh a home before a family wedding.)
- Ray will be attending the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America National Convention and trade show. The national convention is always a great time to learn about new products and techniques in the painting industry, and to gather information that we can provide to our customers. (Look for photos on our Events page.)
- In March we are a Gold Sponsor for the wine tasting and silent auction to benefit the emergency medical fund of The Animal Haven. Located in North Haven, Animal Haven does a great job caring for homeless dogs and cats and helping to place them in loving homes. Their fundraising event will be on March 16 at Aunt Chilada’s in Hamden.
- On April 7 we plan to be at the Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce Business Expo at the Holiday Inn in North Haven. We hope you’ll come out and see us there and find out what new things we have to offer this spring!
As you can see, in addition to our regular work we’re also on the road continuing our education and participating in community events. If you haven’t seen us lately, keep on the lookout for our truck!
